I'm getting parts together for an SFF iGPU build to replace my ATX tower running my old i5 3450 + RX 460 in 1-2 years time so that when DDR5 memory is available all I need is to buy the actual platform and not wait around for parts for the rest of the build to ship or become available.
I've got a 240W AC-DC PSU from my old alienware x51,
I've bought an HDPlex 400W DC-ATX board to utilize said PSU.
For a case I have bought the Silverstone Milo-10 for a Vesa-mounted All-in-one desktop experience.
The CPU cooler is tricky because IDK if I will actually go AMD or Intel since IDK how far Intel can catch up in iGPU performance in the upcoming generations or if they will just continue their ancient UHD 630. The good news is that I have a wide range of Intel stock coolers, but I consider it more likely that I will be going with AMD assuming they make an APU with 6-8 CPU cores in which case I need to find the best cooler for this little passion project.
