Cooling 120mm Fans in 6.7 liter SFF Case Fan Testing

I see considerable case fan testing but seldom in SFF cases. The modified 678 case claimed a volume of 6.7 liters. The case is too small for a 120mm fan to be mounted internally. The ID Cooling IS-47-XT CPU cooler was mounted with the cooler fins running across the width of the case forcing air left towards the back of the GPU and on the right to the very open right side case panel.

Case fan RPM was set with the CPU & GPU at idle.

CPU & GPU were allowed to auto-regulate to determine if selected case fan could lower sound level by reducing CPU or GPU temperatures and thus their individual fan speeds.

10 minute CPU-Z stress test & Unigine Valley 1080P Ultra.
Sound level meter was 30cm from the right front corner of the case & 19cm in height.
Temperature and dba was noted after the final minute of testing with CPU & GPU running at their auto selected settings. Noise was predominately from the A9x25 CPU cooler fan.
