News Jonsbo announces new ITX case V8

German food? Does it exist? :D Joke aside, thanx for reviewing the case. If it was smaller, it would make sense for SFF builders but it is not in my opinion. People must spend extra money for replacing the fan. As you mentioned, would be great if it was PWM or fanless.

Discussion 4th Gen APU Freesync adjustment and 240hz Refresh Rate

Thank you very much for the reply. You are right about 4K capabilities on the APUs. It needs some years to achieve those numbers.

Discussion 4th Gen APU Freesync adjustment and 240hz Refresh Rate

Since 4th Gen APUs are not out yet, this is just a theoretical question. Will it be possible to enable Freesync through DP 1.4 port existing on the MoBo (for example Strix b550i and Aorus b550i have it)? My second question is; if we assume that the APU will be enough powerful to deliver 240+ fps...

Motherboard Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX ITX

Only theoretical info without the physical motherboard. Even the Youtubers can’t get their hands on the B550 Mobos easily. What an introduction and new release to the market by the companies.

Completed REVOCCASES RCC-BRICKMOD500 / build your own power brick with up to 500W output

It depends if there is a direct airflow from the case fans. Otherwise it may cause hot air pockets in the case.

Concept REVOCCASES - next (low cost) case design - what would you prefer

Sounds great. About the CPU Cooler clearance, it is always tricky to decide it. Everybody wants as high clearance as possible but as small case as possible. There are already a lot of strong <50mm coolers like NH-L9a, Blackridge, Cryorig C7 and new coming IS-47. In case someone wanna use...

Concept REVOCCASES - next (low cost) case design - what would you prefer

That’s an issue I mentioned to Till in another related topic. All decent and affordable PSU alternatives are either in US or Asia. Only option in Europe is HDplex unless you import alternatives from US and therefore pay custom tax and long shipping durations. So it would be great to have an...

Concept REVOCCASES - next (low cost) case design - what would you prefer

Complete set cost me €116 including shipping. I also looked for external brick alternatives before buying this set but a reliable branded bricks were around 70+80 Euro+shipping. If I would combine one of these adapter with a 192w PicoDC-ATX(€50), it would cost me around €120-130+shipping(I also...

Concept REVOCCASES - next (low cost) case design - what would you prefer

As far as I observe the general purposes of having an APU Case are portability, mobility, small footprint and low cost/decent performance. Something that can easily be transported between studio and living room, workplace and home, LAN nights. Must be light and fit in a backpack easily with its...

Concept REVOCCASES - next (low cost) case design - what would you prefer

Second option is my preference. As small case as possible which can accommodate 80mm fans and internal AC—DC adapter. As a CPU cooler clearance, <65mm is fine since there are a lot of alternatives which can easily cool down any APU. IMO the biggest challenges with the APU cases on the market are...
