The spine can be tough to get in because of the slight curvature that happens when putting it fully loaded into the car. You have to either shimmy it back and forth or bend the case frame back.... I should know, I only pulled mine apart and put it back together 2 dozen times.

    The space inefficiency thread

Love g5 mods. I have 2 G5's sitting in my garage waiting for modding that will likely never happen, lol. They're insanely nice cases, but there's a LOT of work that needs to be done to convert them.

I can't speak for Taylor but if I were him, I'd be taking a long break after the year it took him to get these out to people. Maybe that's what he's doing? You can tell there was a ton of love, work, and attention poured into this case. The quality is just on another level.

This should be your first step for sure. It may even show up with a yellow triangle, if so delete that and reboot.

I don't know the answer, but I know @N9neBreak3r had some issues too, perhaps they can chime in on a fix?

Home Depot also sells thread sizers. Saw them today in the fasteners section for under 10 bucks. Definitely something I wanna pick up soon myself.

Seems to be a reported issue regarding 4090s. Taylor is in touch with the MFG of the riser cable.

I will always take better materials, quality, and finish over cost. The Slate has a few issues, but it really is a phenomenal case. I'd like to see support for 25mm fans across the board, and a revision to the thumb nuts for mounting. Outside of those issues, the case hits so many of my...

Just a slight word of caution for anyone who needs to go with the Noctua 140-120mm fan adapters, the NF A12x15 fans do not fit out of the box. You'll need to take a Dremel or sander to the insides of the frames of the adapters on all four sides. There's too much material to slot the fans in...

Well, good news, because if you actually get 15mm fans, it should work, as the Arctic's are really 18mm in height. I think the adapter probably adds 1-2mm. You'll probably have to cut the screw mounts down on the adapter plate, though.

Mine is set up as a wind tunnel as I have the sandwich layout in horizontal orientation. The lower 240 pulls the air from the bottom and the upper 240 has fans pushing out the top. With a 3080 and a 10900k, my water temp has been topping out at about 48c with the fans controlled at 1200RPMs.

I'm curious about this too. Cos these Arctic's are just absolutely pissing me off at this point. I'm thinking about ordering the blackout slims with the 140 adapter. Haven't posted final pics since the build isn't technically done since one of my fans decided to bind on itself and I can't get...

I've never used iCue as I've heard nothing but horror stories. Aquacomputer's fabwerk is alright. The interface is a bit confusing, but it actually works.

Yeah, I don't think the case he used is available anymore, but I'll find something for it. It's an impressive piece of tech.
