planning on using the z270i from asus which uses the same 8pin for power. but i only have the pico psu. would it be ok to use the 4pin only for daily use? im not planning on serious overclocking.

hi josh, how did you stack the Zalman CNPS2x with the scythe fan? also is it ok to use the 4pin power connector to power the asus z170 mobo instead of using a 8pin adapter?
