Production Sliger SV590 and SV540 - Vertical SFF Cases!

Done with the thing. Was easier than I thought, is a very well designed case, and have enough space even with SF750 stock cables,

Production Sliger SV590 and SV540 - Vertical SFF Cases!

Finishing my build in the SV540, found something that I think should be advertised in the webpage. Some graphics cards hate being vertical with video ports facing top. My reference RX 6800 XT flies to 110ºC (junction) within 1-2 minutes of gaming, but if I flip the case temps are back to normal.

    Cerberus V2

Things I want to see: - Removable top and bottom like the new S610/620. - More open and silent friendly fan grill, like all the new cases. - Top/bottom fans mounted directly in the cover, like NR200 top. Let me clean access to everything. - Better PCI cover system. The actual plate with two...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I wouldn't recommend to install the AIO in the bottom, even if it fits. A lot more noise from pump, and lifespan will be shortened significantly. I tried Corsairs H100i Pro in mine, and changed rapidly to the NH-C14S because the pump noise.

The good old times! with the mighty P180 + Nexus at 7v combo for silence. Miss the old Antec too.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

In heavy workloads reaches 80-82ºC easy, and in games it hovers at around 60-65ºC. As for the fecuency, reaches between 4,6 and 4,85 GHz in games without issue.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Performance at 1440p is awesome, 60-70 fps in BFV and 30-35 fps in RDR2 more than my previous 2080, and is dead silent. Very surprised with the reference cooler.

Not the best cable work, but the beast is inside and running,

I would love to see a Cerberus X v2 with a detachable bottom (to flip the case easily) and a more "airflow friendly" grill, like the new ITX models,

Did you ever tried in your tests a 140mm AIO mounted in the side bracket? Could be another option ?

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

The beta BIOS Im using still gives you the option to undervolt, and with -0,05v temperatures drop from 81ºC to 77ºC. My plan atm is to wait and see what AMD brings in terms of undervolt with new AGESA, and decide then what to do with CPU cooling, because none of the alternatives convince me...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Its all ok, no dust, fresh thermal paste, two A14s and good fan curve that starts at 1100rpm. Those are normal temps for this chip in multicore workloads. I have somewhere here the SFX back bracket, maybe is time to put it in use and experiment with 280mm front AIO ?

Push-Pull intake, with the second fan in the side bracket and room temperature around 19-20ºC.

Testing the 5800X atm, and temps with the NH-C14S are definitely in the warm side. Maybe is time to play with liquid again ?
