This has been sold!
I'm looking to sell my FormD T1 1.0 for $250 AUD + shipping
I've got it boxed up in the original packaging and protective wrapping. Here's some photo of some photos of it all boxed up.
I've had a few thoughts for top mounting brackets.
Currently I'm stacking a couple of the provided brackets to raise my Corsair H60 reservoir up. This is just to clear the fan from the power supply cables.
Has anyone created anything like these? I figure it would be pretty straightforward to...
While taking off the panels to do a bit of de-dusting and maintenance I thought I'd take some photos and talk about a modification I had to make to accommodate my CPU cooler.
I've had the T1 since March it's been a great case. Cleaning it is such a breeze since all four panels are held in place...
No problem here.
However on the subject of the power cable: I do not know if this is the case for everyone, but I've found that the socket which the power cable plugs into has a lot of wiggle and give. I am worried that the clips holding it in place may break if I'm not very gentle with it.
I...
I've not put any more time into this concept.
For those who are following the thread, I would be keen to know if there is a demand for this. Also what is your use case for it?
Personally I'm looking for a way to orient the case vertically, and keep the cables tidy. However I would like to know...

I assumed that this just meant the shipment was being planned.
Sorry for derailing the thread with the question. I should have contacted Wahaha360 directly.
Is there an update on the power button shipment?
I've been using a temporary one from my Dan Case for the past couple months. But I intend to sell that case so will need a replacement.
Edit: I intend to sell the Dan Case, not the T1
Some more changes.
- Added bottom panel
- Changed rear cable hole
- Added rubber feet
The bottom panel would allow for mounting components ( I need to figure out a standard for mounting holes before I add any )
I hadn't considered that dust would be much of a factor with this. Do you think that there would be an issue?
I'd like to avoid needing right angled cables :)
The current height is 50mm. Looking at my case now, the display ports are around 40mm. There's some stiffness in the cable but I think...
Thanks for the feedback!
I agree that front IO isn't all that important. Also it does make it quite ugly.
I'm not sure about fans. I especially see a problem with blower style GPUs. Perhaps adding mounting holes for 40mm fans to pull air out would help.
I made a few changes which I'm quite keen...
I made a few changes to the vertical mount base I mentioned a few pages back.
Here's a new thread for it as I didn't want to take this one off topic.
https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/formd-t1-vertical-orientation-base.13005/
I've been tinkering with the idea of creating a base to mount my T1 on to convert it to a vertical case.
The base would be affixed to the case by the same screw holes which mount the top and bottom panels of the case.
Since the T1 doesn't have front IO, I thought about adding them to the base...
