This might be a mod build but do you think laying the PSU flat for bottom intake, one of the sides as exhaust would choke the D12L. I'm wondering if another fan as exhaust where the PSU was would change anything, duct removed if it needs to be to fit one.

Thermal Grizzly has a top one as well for EU people. I would check fitment against other mounting brackets like Noctua or Thermalright if this is intending to replace those that mount under the OG plate or if this is intending to work under mounting one of these.

Maybe play around with spacing and not do it as often as the Tiger but ultimately it might not work with how the Hydra expands.

That design is what I like about the sandwich case. Without mesh, it's open without it feeling open. I'd imagine more carbon fiber increases cost significantly.
