    Nanook's build log (9900K / Asrock Z390 / RTX 2080Ti)

Hey Nanook. I have done some extensive testing on a 9900K setup with C14 vs 240mm AIO, and I dont understand how you are getting those temps. I need help for optimization. Your temps are much lower than mine. Are you running 200% fan speed? :-P Have been sharing it over on HardOCP and I can...

M1 w/ window - best flat CPU cooler

Shottie over on [H] has good experience with the C14S and gives better cooling than the U9S. https://hardforum.com/threads/ncase-m1-a-crowdfunded-mini-itx-case-updates-in-first-post.1717132/page-680#post-1043881831

M1 w/ window - best flat CPU cooler

Get A Noctua C14S and mount the fan underneath.. Make sure you use a SFX to ATX bracket and install the SFX PSU in ATX mode. Otherwise the fan cannot fit. That is the best solution.

    Ncase+C14: Fan underneath benefit?

Interesting that it was louder.. normally adding more fans does not (necesseary) add more sound pressure (dB).. maybe there was some interference.. Ya.. are gonna use a A12X25 both above and beneath..

    Ncase+C14: Fan underneath benefit?

Does anybody know if it benefits to add a third fan (underneath) to a Ncase M1 with C14 and 2x Noctua A12X25 PWM side by side on stock panel? I am talking about a third A12X25 PWM fan. This will of cause mean low profile RAM like Corsair Vengence LPX. The alternative is to use a 15mm fan...

Absolute best possible thermals for the cpu

The C14S is not ideal.. The original C14 is better, as you can have a 25mm depth fan on that can create much better pressure and as such more air. That way you can either install 2x 120mm fan side by side, or 1x 140mm fan. But The C14S can work for sure..
