Cooling New ID-Cooling IS-55 CPU Cooler Testing & Comparison to Thermalright AXP120-X67 & Noctua L12 GE Coolers

Any cooler that has back-mount installation won't support that TR adapter.

    Motherboard Thin ITX Discussion Thread

Happy this thread is here because I'm starting in on a little personal project with a Thin ITX board (ASRock AM4) but having trouble finding a good looking case that can fit a low profile air cooler (30mm to 38mm). We have a DB1 Max in the office here but its passive system is an absolute...

Cooling PSA: Blackridge seems to be dead for AM5

I can confirm this. Like a lot of low profile cooler manufacturers, this would need retooling of the cooler itself. Its also why some (ID Cooling for example) are taking the opportunity to roll out AM5 compatible coolers like the IS-55 that have the necessary mounts while also improving the...

Hardware Canucks Reviews The Latest SFF Low Profile Coolers

Better late than never with my response. ;) This was a fun one but also a bit of a PITA since a lot of the coolers basically sold out right after the video was posted.

SFF.Network Hardware Canucks Reviews in Detail the Alpenfohn Black Ridge

Thanks! I think on of the main concerns about this one is the fact the included fan is quite lacking. For the North American market that's an issue since when you factor in the shipping costs alongside the Noctua (or other) fan, it gets quite expensive.

CPU Low Profile (46 to 65mm) Air Cooler Ideas

Thanks for the feedback! So a few things: AXP-90 X53 is certainly a possibility BUT impossible to find it in or shipped to Canada in under a month. Unless there's something I'm missing Big Shuriken 3 I'm going to skip since the Rev.B is coming as well alongside a new Fuma and Mugen. :)

CPU Low Profile (46 to 65mm) Air Cooler Ideas

I'm reaching out to the community for a bit of assistance on my next roundup video. Its the follow up to this one: https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/hardware-canucks-reviews-low-profile-sff-coolers.17388/#post-262105 In the next phase I want to look at air coolers between the heights...

SFF.Network Hardware Canucks Reviews Low Profile SFF Coolers

The Cooler Master highlights everything wrong with their approach to air cooling: they reuse an old design, rebrand it over and over again and hope for the best.

SFF.Network Hardware Canucks Reviews Low Profile SFF Coolers

Thanks for everyone's feedback. The biggest challenge facing this video was one a lot of you can probably understand: a lack of stock or availability in North America. The Black Ridge arrived only after the video was complete and its getting a separate piece sometime in the next week or so...

Mike from Hardware Canucks Saying HI!

Its so fully you should say that since I'm actually working on a part of that cooler series for the SFF community right now. One of the main challenges continues to be finding a lot of the coolers in Canada or even shipped up from the States with them getting lost in some customs black hole...

Mike from Hardware Canucks Saying HI!

Have any suggestions? Navigating AliExpress is like running around blind in a minefield. If there's been some interest in some particular cases, we might be willing to get them out! I've actually been reading it for the last year or so. :)

Mike from Hardware Canucks Saying HI!

Hey everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster. Mike here, owner & Editor in Chief of Hardware Canucks. I'm thinking some of you may have seen my passive ITX and Sentry build update recently. Anyways, long story short, I've decided to finally start posting here (no video spam...
