Is not easy just figure out what's the right amount to screw in before you put in the cooler and start bolting it in. That's the hard part. Took me multiple trials before getting stable temperatures. You know is not working if you push it down and the temperatures get better.
My main points with the sentry 1 after running it for years now.
1 - Hole pattern should match screw holes to mount a fan or other devices (either on the inside or the outside)
2 - Too many screws, try to remove screws as much as possible and use another locking mechanism. Make GPU and CPU...
I disagree. SFF is about making it work when it seems like it won't. I got the black ridge cooling my 7900x in Zaber Sentry 1.0 . The temperatures are acceptable for me running on ECO Mode.
A quick Cinebench Test shows acceptable results for me:
Better than 5950x is good enough for me...
Why won't zotac build a VR Backpack empty Case (With just the battery Packs and maybe a powersupply) rather than the full PC. For me it would be instant buy!
Right but following that logic the GPU point should be worth more given that they follow the same trend and have similar value in terms of performance to an i9. In fact you can argue in some cases more.
Damn that would put you in second place. The score gets very unfair with an i9 because even though the multi-threaded score is higher the performance doesn't really scale that well in any non-benchmark practical application. Plus the fact that the CPU score can be so much higher than the GPU...
My personal PC as is used everyday. No overclocking on anything.
CPU: i7 7700k (at Stock)
Graphic Card: GTX 1080 Ti
Validation: https://valid.x86.fr/qsn5uc
Total score: (2620.7*4589)/7.2 = 1670332
Liters: 7.2 with the added fan (Can also run at the same speed without the fan but didn't want to...
