    Reviving this dead thread... have there been any new products that happen to have better airflow from top to bottom? I was thinking something like a split cable design but one that had rounded cables would allow air to pass though much easier than the flat ribbon.

    Just do it. Ive MURDERED the bottom of my M1 and as long as you leave triangular corners it is as stable as not having it. And once you put in the different components, it all just holds together. Please note, those are 140MM fans.

    I like how you broke the up the tophat pieces for smaller printers, but the model is one full piece. Might be better to break up the model into 2 different STLs.

    Yeah, you would have to make the slots strong enough to handle a little tug. I wouldnt make the slots stick out, but part of the larger (stronger) structure. And remember, you can always print with 100% infill and things will be strong as hell. I can stand on a Calibration Cube printed on my...
