    Thank you for finding this mod and sharing! Presumably the X300 predecessor lacked this under-voltage protection circuitry since it worked at 12V. It seems odd that ASRock would bother adding this complexity when the DC-DC circuits are *more* efficient at 12V input than 19V... any ideas why...

    What is the performance loss from using GPU in M.2 slot? Would there be any improvement if the Gen5 M.2 slot was used instead of Gen4?

    I thought the HDPLEX 250W GaN had max 20A for 12V (240W) but this table shows 23A, which implies 276W max... I've read that the OCP is 300W, so it sounds like it might support higher draw than 20A?

    Unfortunately, it seems even low/moderate-wattage models of latest GPUs use 12VHPWR power connectors. For example, 4070 Super models which require 12VHPWR connector but draw max ~220W. I plan on dedicating a HDPLEX 250W GaN PSU to power solely a 4070 Super GPU. Using all the included adapters...

    Discussion Reducing wiring of the 24-pin connector

    Wow, that is cool you've reduced it down to just 8 wires! I did some more reading and it seems the +12V from the 24-pin connector is typically used for RAM, so trying to supply all +12V just from the 8-pin EPS connector probably won't work. Interesting PWR_OK isn't needed at all! I wonder how...
