Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

For multiple reasons: 1. 25mm fans are superior in every way to their thin counterparts, especially for radiators 2. Mounting fans on the front would open up the possibility of a custom reservoir (radikult reservoir) to the front radiator 3. It doesn't feel right to do a push pull setup with...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Any chance you could make the front grill 12-13mm wider to fit a standard 25mm fan in that area? It's the only thing that's holding me back from buying. Make that happen and I'd buy this in a heartbeat over the SMA8-A that I'll be ordering tomorrow morning.

    Cerberus-X Watercooling [IN PROGRESS]

It's funny you keep saying that the ML 120's aren't great for Hardware Labs, but that graph is directly contradicting the information you keep posting. They perform better than everything but the Sliverstones and Vardar's at almost every rpm level. Do you have something against Corsair that...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

So if I were to drive out to Nevada Friday, I'd be able to pick a Cerebrus X up?

It would definitely help. And extending the front out 10mm more and adding ventilation would be supreme.

    100% this. Or even better, a 240 and 280 or dual 280.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Extra ventilation shouldn't be that big a deal. A drill press or laser cutting service near you would be able to make any ventilation you want a reality. Extending the front panel out a few more mm would be amazing though. Maybe a revision 2...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Yeah, I'm running them in my Ncase watercooled build. No issues with them. There's still better options in 25mm fans though. Especially if I was to go RGB. If I order my Cerebrus X, I'll be making modifications to the front panel to make it a bit more breathable.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

That's what I was looking for. Thanks! Shame a full size fan wouldn't fit, adding a few more mm for clearance wouldn't have affected case volume at all and would make this the absolute best case on the market imo.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Thanks for the answer, but that's not what I'm asking. I'm asking the thickness of fans I can fit between the front panel and the front of the case, or if fans can even fit in that section. Slim fans should fit for sure from the pics I've seen, but I haven't seen any configurations with fans...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

I've only gone through about 75 pages of this thread so far and haven't seen this answered... What thickness of fans can I mount between the front panel and case? Will a full 25mm fan fit? I'm looking to do a Cerebrus X build with front and bottom radiators and being able to fit full size...
