Cooling Optimus Water Cooling is now taking orders!

Just wanted to give an update that we got our first review from Kyle at HardOCP. We had some issues with our mounting springs that we are already working on resolving, so retail units will match the heavy spring performance from Kyle's testing. With proper springs, we outperformed the XSPC...

Thank you! We would love to see people use these in their loops. A lot of time was put into making the top plate look aesthetically pleasing and many months of R&D were put into making the micro fins and channels about the same thickness of paper.

    Cooling Introducing Optimus Water Cooling

The Calyos case is pretty interesting. I switched to water cooling, because I hate fan noise. The passive cooling market is something we could get into in the future. It may very well lead to better performance. If you were using water you'd get the improved thermal conductivity, but that would...

    Cooling Introducing Optimus Water Cooling

Thank you for the kind words! I think we will do unviersal blocks as well in the future to accommodate for all the different pcb layouts. When we do that, I would also like to make a solution to cool the vrms as well. Universal blocks concern me without proper vrm cooling. Especially on a...

That's a possibility. It would have to be after we've done a number of gpu blocks though.

Definitely! We already have plans to do itx/ half length full cover gpu blocks.

I'm not sure when we would start making radiators, but I'd definitely be interested in doing that. Monoblocks we'd be able to do much sooner and making a full cover block for itx sounds really good for sff. Between the two, we would probably make a 92mm single and dual radiator, because the 92mm...

At this time, we do not have replaceable mounts for our first water block. That is something we are planning on integrating with an acrylic version in the future. The only downside of going in that direction is that the top plate will no longer be one solid piece.

    Cooling Introducing Optimus Water Cooling

That isn't something we would offer for a while, but that is something we could do in the future. If we did do blocks for low profile GPUs it would be after we've already made some standard GPU water blocks. I'm not opposed to anything though, we just need to have a larger product line up before...
