Ended up stealing one of these LED strips (http://www.ebay.com/itm/261526836302) from a friend, wiring it out to a fan connector, and put it in my case. Another question, hopefully this one is less dumb: have any of you guys installed LED strips in the case? If yes, how so? I was looking to buy a molex powered strip and pinning out the wires to a fan connector, but I'm not 100% sure that would work and really don't wanna blow up my mobo. Thanks!

So my mini came in today, and of course I'm hard at work building and sleeving for the better part of the day... then comes the part where I go to install the HDplex, and in the full system build vid you mention that you can remove the studs in the front panel to create room for the hdplex. Now...

They look pretty awesome, just wasn't completely sure if there were water droplets on them or if they had some sort of funky rough finish Haha. I'm assuming it's the former. They look great!

In addition to lampshades thoughts, if you're going to go with a non k chip, it could save you some money if you decide to buy a h170 or b150 motherboard. I'm currently using an asrock h170 itx board I bought for around $70 paired with an i5 6600 non k and it's served me well. Of course...

+1 on this. The added convenience of having straight cables would make a world of difference. too bad I ended up buying the current HDplex already...

Would also like to know this. Looks like it doesn't fit in the S3 mini according to yoyo55, but is there a way to get it into the S4? I need to satisfy my newfound thirst for extreme sff builds, and the cheaper the parts I can find, the better :p
