SFF.Network ASRock DeskMini at Computex 2018

I agree on serial and VGA ports. PS/2 port is a gaming thing and could be a good selling point actually. Anyway they are still very hard to find, especially without case and GPU.

    Accessory Drevo's Calibur - 70% Keyboard, 100% Mechanical

When we talk about keyboards I feel compelled to add my 2 unsolicited cents. Full disclosure: I design and build keyboards for a living and for a passion. Price for basic components is very well known, same as cost of production/assembling in China. There is a minimum price tag for mechanical...

    Stuffing a Sugo SG13

hey guys, sorry for the necro post. Since I've been requested to post the source files for the front panel, I just wanted to make my onshape document public https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f5196c32690a3f4924624d53/w/54ab1107b14a3f760c1b627d/e/471c09a3ff8253e0dc8ad403 (let me know if the link...

    3D Printing Thread

Does anyone has experience in optics, specifically polarizers? I'm trying to build myself a decent quality SLA 3d printer based on a 4K 12" LCD. Unfortunately LCDs come with very aggressive polarizers that cut most of the UV so I'm trying to find a replacement. I have found some very...

    Stuffing a Sugo SG13

Finally found the time to make some tests on the temperatures. Today is pretty hot and ambient is around 26-27°C. The CPU runs incredibly cool. Even under moderate stress I haven't seen it over 50-52°C. In low/standard usage stays between 36-44°C. It's not a huge jump from low to intense usage...

I can't live without a 3d printer anymore! It's fantastic especially to create supports, cable management, fan adapter/converters... actually I'm soon going to buy a bigger one :) PS: how's the corsair H55? noise level?

the orange filament is PLA+, but the plastic bits are far away from where heat happens. Also I made the pieces rather thick. The black filament for the PSU support instead is ABS since that part is supposed to get hotter.

lol, yeah that orange is rather bright, but at the end I kinda like the end result. I can always paint it black if I feel inspired. I bought more filaments though. Next time should be better. Now I have to design a case for my wife and I think I'll build it around hdplex stuff...

    Stuffing a Sugo SG13

The front panel ended up wonderfully and it fits like a glove on the case. Don't blame me, I only had orange spool available. All in all it was a pretty smooth build, I just made a small alignment mistake on the SD card reader, but nothing a sharp knife couldn't fix. Also added the back plate...

    Stuffing a Sugo SG13

so far so good. I haven't tested it under stress but at standard usage (internet/video/mail/...) CPU is at 34°C and GPU 43°C (ambient is 25°C). sure no problem, just the PSU rig or the front panel too? it is very customized for my needs.

So everything fits! You can't add a needle to it, and the GPU was a tight fit... but I'm so happy with the end result! The only CPU cooler orientation is with the heatpipes facing the back of the case... and they protrude a few mm out of what was the PSU hole. That's not a problem I'll build...
