Stalled S700: Salvo Studios <23L ATX Steel Watercooled Unibody Chassis

I hope a windowed panel on the GPU side will be possible, would be stupid to hide something so nice :D

Thanks for the long post, I would indeed love a case with a front mountrd GPU and dual chamber that's why I was lobbying to remove the front radiator and only have a 240mm mount in the back chamber so the volume remains the same (roughly 18L). :p I'm not sure I understand your last sentence...

What I mean is I would much rather have the GPU in front of the motherboard like on the renders with the single chamber design. I am not interested in making a custom loop at all to be honest :D

Just a single slot PCIE at the front? :( That would basically mean you need to watercool the GPU.

Show us some photos of the final build, neat stuff!

I mean, sure, I am all for making SFF mainstream, but giving people more options is never a bad idea too. A solid option for those that maybe don't want to downgrade everything but they would still like to make their PC smaller would be cool too.

I assume you meant 'not interested'. ;) it's just kind of boring to see all those sandwich cases over and over, no offense to yours ofc, I think it is the best out there. ATX mobo in an sff sounds great, I find myself missing some of the advantages of an ATX mobo after a long time with ITX.

How about making an ATX motherboard case similar to the TX aio by custom mod? https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/cases-tx-aio-produced-by-custom_mod.8340/

GPU stays in front of the motherboard, look at the case thread I quoted, you need around 16-17cm of thickness which is not that much more than using a rad in the front.

To add to my previous post, I saw you said you were thinking about reverting to a dual chamber design, I obviously like the decision, I think everything depends on what you want this case to be primarily suited for. If we're assuming it is supposed to solely appeal to custom water-cooling...

I just feel like using the space behind the mobo for the rad and psu feels like the better idea and leaves less unused space inside, while also making the cable management easier. With your design, with the PSU above the motherboard, you're inevitably exposing all the cables and making it harder...

Prototyping Knarr: ~12L case with a focus on liquid cooling and aesthetics

Looking forward to it, I really like your design and the layout of the TX cases seems amazing for me, I find myself missing some of the things that larger mobos offer more and more lately and would still like to keep the volume low. :)

    What's on Taobao

Are you sure? I would be okay with TX2 but it kind of sucks that it limits the GPU by a lot only allowing reference height GPUs, length I guess could be increased to 280mm no problem, but only 115mm in height basically only limits you to reference GPUs. But considering he would have to model it...

    What's on Taobao

Guys, I contacted Custom MOD about the TX1 case. He is willing to make it but said that they use a new modeling method and he can't use the old files so he would have to model the case from ground up which comes at a cost of labour, obviously. He said he would be willing to model the case free...

Prototyping Knarr: ~12L case with a focus on liquid cooling and aesthetics

What do you think about making a second revision with a dual chamber design and mATX/ATX motherboard support, like the TX Aio cases from Custom Mod? https://smallformfactor.net/forum/threads/cases-tx-aio-produced-by-custom_mod.8340/ I would be wildly interested if you made that an option...
