So I'm running easy +200 mhz and +400 mhz memory overlock on the 2080 black edition with full fans and running a consistent 55 degree's and 140-180 FPS on Unigine Heaven Benchmark on a 2080 Black Edition. I think I found a pretty solid chip.
What kind of extra power requirements are the water cooling placing on the system, not to mention with the overlock on both GFX and CPU? Seems the 600 Watt's may be a little under powered considering some of the GFX card minimum requirements.
ETADIK Nvidia... I order up a 2080 and you come out with the "Super" cards.
Not sure if I should return the EVGA 2080 Black Edition card as address error delayed shipment in order to wait for a better price on a 2080 or get a 2070 Super which is performing almost on par.
Ended up buying an EVGA Black Edition 2080. Ti's performance to dollar ratio just isn't there still, but the 2080's have come down low enough that its at least decent enough and it will be a worthy upgrade to my Titan X Pascal. I'll throw up pictures of it installed when I get it in my grubby...
Got it, I'm trying to decide if its worth upgrading my Titan X Pascal for a 2080 or 2080 Ti cost wise. A 1080 Ti doesn't seem like enough of a bump for me to scrounge up a used example. Waiting to see what prices do now that AMD is nudging their way in to various price brackets.
