So i bought an S4-C Mini back in May but I've only started building in it now. Unfortunately but my version has those darn studs. How do you take them off?

How did you get the HDPlex to fit with those damn SATA3 ports in the way haha I have nearly the same build, only difference is the Memory and the wiring, I'm using the wires that came with the HDPlex. Edit: Oh and the case is just a plain S4-C Mini in silver

My local Microcenter has 10+ i5-7600k in stock for only $200. I'm planning on getting the CPU, a HDPlex 300w and an AsRock z270 itx/ac so i can play around with core clocks and voltage. What psu do you use?

How do you guys stow away your power adapters? Can you use 3M adhesive to mount a large power brick (such as the Dell DA330PM111 330W) to the underside of a desk ? What other ways could you mount/hide them?

What are you planning to build in yours? To be honest, I haven't even purchased the rest of my parts lol. I'm planning on putting an i5 7600k with an evga sc 1060 6gb, and a 500gb sandisk ssd, all powered by a HDPlex 300w. If there was no secret shop, I probably wouldn't have bought the S4 Mini.

I'm not well versed in wiring mods unfortunately so that might not be the best solution for me. My 2 biggest reasons for wanting a shorter 24-pin cable is to free up space in my S4 Mini, and to have neutral colors that complement the case (or don't interfere with it at the least.

I may have to just settle for a 7 inch cable as long as it is has neutral colors. I'm a noob when it comes to wiring (the most I've done is connect a set of wires for an aftermarket truck stereo) so buying tools that I will hardly use isn't the best option for me.

I don't get my Silver S4 Mini until next Monday, these next 5 days are going to be brutal!
