Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

I will be testing the prototype as soon as I get it to verify the idea works. If it all goes well and if there is enough interest, we will be doing a small production run. Lehman

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

I just ordered a 3900x to test out this pump/block combo on. It will running through a XSPC tx360 radiator and an EKWB on a 5700xt. Hopefully I will have all the parts in the next week or two. Lehman

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

The pump block with mini res came from a need for this case. I have an Alphacool LT pump block but I was unsure if it could handle a 360 radiator and a video card. Since the LT solo is 39mm tall, that became our height limit. The block is just like Tazpr said. A bridge between an ekwb...

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

Thanks you! Yes, this is just a custom one off case. I have no intention of building these for sale. It would have to be made about 20mm wider to fit a normal sfx power supply. The whole case is built around specific parts that we had in hand to get real measurements to limit excess...

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

There hopefully wont be a vibration issue. I am using noctura fans with the rubber pads. The steel mounting plate is 1.5mm thich and the aluminum panels are 2mm thick.

New front ratio. I am liking the less wood to metal ratio. Lehman

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

Thanks, when the Sliger SV590 first was shown I almost decided to not complete this project. It had a lot of my goals already there and would have saved me a ton of money. I am not concerned about it being top heavy. The psu is in the center and is not even the heaviest part. PSU 22.65...

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

I am not sure if it could be produced for consumers as is. Right now it has a cut down SFX 750 power supply in it. I removed the stock fan and cut the metal. @WiSK was the inspiration for doing the cut down power supply. This is my second build that I have done this. You just use airflow...

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

Looking for a little feedback. Vents on the left are for the radiator. On the right is exhaust. Should they be the same or keep them like they are with the 2 different layouts. The front wood strip. Should the wood be narrower and have more metal? Stay the way it is? Or even more wood...

Prototyping Project 404 - Sub 10 liter Vertical Tower

Let me introduce you to Project 404 that Andy Lauder at Product Design Factory is building for me. He took a layout design I had and basic design and turned it into what you see below. I wanted a tower case that supported a triple fan radiator. So that is what this design is based around. It...

    Wi Fi antennas

Has anyone ever used or researched flat patch antennas? An example antenna. It is for a case with no I/O ports. The idea was to use this behind a wood panel. Any insight into how they compare with the normal ones that come with your motherboard? Thanks Lehman

Prototyping Fr33Flow 48mm CPU Block + Pump + Res (maybe)

Any news on the SPC-60 and the block? Really looking at this for the new AMD. But that is still a few months away. Any info you want to share one fin details on the block? Thanks Lehman

Prototyping Fr33Flow 48mm CPU Block + Pump + Res (maybe)

Have you looked at the EK SPC 60 pump? Its smaller and quieter than other ddc pumps. Runs off a motherboard header, uses only 6w where most headers are 12w, doesn't need a heat sink. Flows .75 gpm through XSPC Raystorm Pro CPU block, a Swiftech Komodo R9-LE GPU block, a HardwareLabs Black Ice...

Prototyping Fr33Flow 48mm CPU Block + Pump + Res (maybe)

My asus x470-I is 2 amp on the CPU fan, but it does not say what the AIO header is rated at in the manual.
