and it begins... Guess it's time to see if I've forgotten anything!
Worth noting that at the time of order Sliger were unable to fulfil my custom order of top vented with no USB cutouts (#1 below) and were only offering #2 and #3. ETA of being able to fulfil custom orders of #1 was "at least...
+1 actually. If this can be done, i might just order now and skip Newegg. I can't find a good temp case anyway, so my hardware is just gathering dust
@KSliger are there any spare front panels from this order?
Edit: just realised this is the cerberus, I'll be ordering the cerberus X - can this...
I'm sure it'll be there, just wont be a big talking piece. PSU's aren't really all that exciting ;)
Thanks for the heads up! Looks like it's sold directly by Amazon/Corsair, and shows a release date of 8 January 2019 - first day of CES!
Awesome - further proof that the sf750 will be unveiled at CES! :D
Specs on Corsairs website confirm it'll be 80 plus Platinum as well. If this is made available for purchase by the end of CES, I might purchase and put my build in a cheap ATX case until Cerberus X is available on newegg :D
Received my Enermax Liqtech TR4 II 240 earlier in the week - talked to support and they confirmed that only units with serial numbers starting with 1807XX were found to be defective.
FYI for others buying this liquid cooler, check the serial number.
Hmm tempting.. I've been finding it pretty difficult to source the SST-SX800-LTI in Australia at a reasonable price, (Can only find it in stock on newegg at an inflated price) if this ends up being released this month, with dual 8 pin EPS to boot, that'd be awesome.
On that note I've now...
I was in the same boat, I've now purchased the 2950x - but only because I managed to snag a deal I couldn't refuse! Unless your workload now currently requires the 16c/32t of the 1950x/2950x - going 1920x and then upgrading later down the track to zen 3 is a good move :D
@KSliger
Just noticed...
Thanks for those diagrams, and example - that's super helpful. The example you've shown also shows me the gpu with the Morpheus II will fit in one of the top PCIe slots without blocking off the AIO. Awesome.
The board in the above is the Taichi, but it's layout is almost identical to the...
Hey guys - Finally time for me to start purchasing my equipment! Would love some feedback on my build from those of you more experienced with building in this case, my build is far from the most complex in this thread, but I'm still a little worried I've forgotten to consider something. I'm...
They've (finally) admitted the design flaws - first round of gen2 batches were also affected, which is why stock has been so dry. Pretty worrying that they didn't fix it BEFORE releasing gen2.
I'm planning on waiting it out a bit longer - to get confirmation that they're not just lying to us...
