Yes, for sure. The OC versions of the 9070 XT use 3 PCIe power connectors, they draw around 310W and 350W depending on model. The AIBs generally recommend 750W to 850W PSU.

It's a miss only including two 6+2 pin PCIe power connectors, the high power AMD GPUs still use three.

Just eyeballing those cases based on the 360 rad support and not looking up actual measurements, neither look SFF. They both look to be 25+ liters and solidly in the MFF segment.

Update on the PSU fan swap. I swapped in a Scythe Kaze Flex 92mm slim fan I had on hand and it completely solved the noise issues. I don't understand why Cooler Master ruined an otherwise perfectly fine PSU with such a cheap fan.

What kind of work will you be doing on this? Or is it just for fun? I only game on my PC, so am unfamiliar with what kind of production takes advantage of so many CPU cores and so much RAM. Pretty gnarly.

Some of those 9070 XT non-MSRP models are wildly priced, $150+ over MSRP with minimal to no performance increase over the base MSRP models. I hear many of the Micro Center locations have good stock of MSRP cards, but most of us aren't anywhere near one, closest location to me is a 6 hour drive...

The reference 7800 XT isn't a true 2 slot design, the fan shroud exceeds 2 slot. I wanted to run a 7800 XT in my Velka 5, but couldn't since not a single one is actually 2 slot. I ended up with a 4070 FE, which is a true 2 slot and I think that should be a requirement to be considered "SFF ready".

I think @Gidilo is correct for this budget. Obviously, I don't know what the market is like where you live, but in the US you can get used AM4 CPU/Mobo and DDR4 ram for pretty cheap these days, so definitely worth looking into that avenue. Also, what are AMD GPU prices like where you live? Here...

For gaming, the undisputed champions are AMD's X3D CPUs. Any of the AM5 ITX motherboards can run the X3D CPUs. so pick the one that has the best combinations of features and cost that fit your needs.
