Log FormD T1 - Air cooled 4k Gaming ITX Build | Update: Test with different coolers

Unforunately, the AXP120 does not fit in 2.5 slot mode. Only 63mm of space for cpu cooler then. The AXP90 would though. But I think i would still pick the BlackRidge over that. Thanks!

Log FormD T1 - Air cooled 4k Gaming ITX Build | Update: Test with different coolers

Currently using a 5800x3d and a 7900 xtx reference. I want to go to a T1 V2 for a case. Which cooler would you recommend with the case in 2.5 slot mode? Was leaning towards the Blackridge. Or an aio. But I like the simplicity of air. Also, nice work on the write up and videos! That was some...

I've never heard of the Sliger S620. I'll check that one out. I may just end up going back to a regular mid tower. I love my SFF builds but there are definitely some downsides.

That's what I assumed. My only concern would be exhausting the air through the AiO. So I wonder if it wouldn't be better gpu thermals at the cost of cpu thermals going up.

I have been looking at the A4-H2O. Also been looking at the CoolerMaster NR200. Any idea how do compare thermal wise to the Ncase?

I'm currently using a 5800 x3d with a 240 mm aio and a reference 7900 xtx in Ncase M1. Performance is very good! Just looking to change things up a little bit. So I thought I'd give a new case a try. Looking for recommendations. The two things I'd like to have is better gpu compatibility...

Advice Starting planning for my first SFF build!

Hey guys! I am happy to say that after many years of lurking, I will be joining the SFF team! I just placed an order for a Ncase M1! Super excited. Now to start shopping for the rest of the parts. I am planning on going with a Ryzen 5600X and either a 6800XT or a RTX 3080. Depending on...

Need some advice on my first sff build

Hey no worries! I’ll check out those other two you recommended but I’m really leaning towards the Chopin right now. I haven’t heard anyone say anything bad about them.

Need some advice on my first sff build

No. Elements is not very intensive at all. I think she would be more than happy with a 2400G and a good SSD. The Asrock B450 motherboard and a Noctua cooler would give me a little bit of overhead too if I did need to overclock it at all. I think that's probably the direction i will go as...

Need some advice on my first sff build

Ah. I just took a closer look at the 9400F. Does not have integrated graphics! That changes things a bit. :)

Need some advice on my first sff build

She doesn’t do anything that requires big graphics power. And I don’t see her doing anything down the road that would either. She hates video games so she will never get into gaming. So I was leaning towards smaller cases that don’t have room for a GPU. That way it would make it more...

Need some advice on my first sff build

LeChuck81, it seems the 9400, which is the successor to the 8400 is cheaper than the 8400. It can be picked up for 158 right now. Only 20 bucks or so more than the 2400G. It would be a significantly more powerful processor and a weaker iGPU than the 2400G. Not sure what the best option is...

Need some advice on my first sff build

I looked at your response, and the review for the A300 on the front page. It looks pretty interesting! I might have to take a closer look at that and see if that’s something she would be interested in. I like that it can mount to the back of the monitor with the Vesa mounting system.

Need some advice on my first sff build

So my wife's laptop is dying. And we have been considering doing a sff build for her next computer instead of another laptop. Her uses for the computer are email, web browsing, word processing, and photo editing with Photoshop Elements. Nice thing about Elements is it does not use GPU...
