Ya, thats why I would like to see what the temps look like for open air gpus. Im aware that open air in a small case usually fair poorly, but most use cases wont have a blowers just cause they arent easily available/ few companies even make them for the newer cards. When I said better...
The testing looks great but I have to bring up one question. Have you guys done testing for open air gpus? They are farm more common and better performing then the blower style card you used for this test?
But all of the testing looks very promosing and I love how cleanly you detailed...
that glass looks amazing, looking forward to what other surprises you'll be sending our way. Especially with the top area as you alluded to in the sff subreddit ;)
Standardizing the test for a set pump would be good. And then compare those tests against the available aios? If you're open to other aios, id suggest the m22 by nzxt as another aio to test against.
Looking forward to results
I just recently stumbled my way across this project, and I gotta say im honestly impressed with all these tests and updates. Looking forward to seeing more of it coming together.
Just have a question about the possibilities of dust filters? apologies if thats been asked about already havent...
Im a fan of the 240 rad support if it allows for improved thermals but i am suspicious if it would be better than the 120 rad. Im a fan of the direction of increasing gpu support and it would be amazing if you could fit a duke in here. Looking forward to prototyping and thermal tests
Oh ya I totally forgot they are addressable now, rn i have the first aura iteration board which required a weird header adpter when using some of the cable-mod compatible leds. So the addressable are a standard so it should be fine.
My bad, meant if they came with the headers necessary to plug straight into the mobo, or if we needed a converter for them. Ik some rgb strips need the b and g wires switched for asus mobos.
