This may sound like a silly question, but is there a major difference between the X370 and B350 for mini-itx? Spec-wise they seem the same pretty much. I am thinking of just getting the AsRock B350 for my Dan A4.
@Necere What's the power consumption during the testing for the i7 6700K and gtx 1080 setup? is the i7 6700k just at 4.0GHz undervolted? Maybe try regular case scenarios with built-in gaming benchmarks or see what happens when you enable v-sync? I have read that high frame-rates or heavy gpu...
Maybe try the 500w Flex-ATX platinum FSP psu next? I get the feeling that 500w is probably going to be the minimum for acceptable noise for a Flex-ATX psu due to the tiny fan.
I really want this case to come out and succeed. This would essentially be the Ncase M1 for UCSFF cases (<4 L) as FlexATX psus may garner interest from the likes of Corsair or Silverstone over time.
I personally do not like having a separate big powerbrick when I could have had a internal psu instead. I just find power bricks synonymous with laptops really. I still agree though that it would be a nice have for those that want to have this option for a 500 watt powerbrick. The problem is the...
I am not a fan of windows in general for this case as it would hamper cooling and there is no room to install any exhaust fan really. Pat-Roner raises a good concern about the second windowed version, as that could very well easily crack/break under international transport.
I have seen several...
Ya, I just wanted to bring the marketing aspect to you. I am a mechanical engineer, but I have realized that good marketing really goes a long way no matter how good your product is. Unfortunately consumers are a fussy bunch and lazy when it comes to researching products, so that's where clear...
I would really market this hard and maybe try to get hardware canucks, linustechtips, tek syndicate, or jayztwocents to talk about your cool case project. What made the Ncase such a success story is how well they marketed the product (gaming news sites/popular YouTube channels) and made the...
I would do a strawpoll or similar to see what people think. I would be happy with anything <4.5L to be honest as having all mini-itx gpu lengths taken into account (up to 180mm) would make this case flexible enough while not compromising a small volume size footprint.
The major advantage you...
