Prototype cirrus7 incus - fanless case for ASRock DeskMini A300 and other popular STX sized boards.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for your feedback! Yes of course it will have an VESA mount option. I will update this thread soon.

Yes. We will ship the Case-only variant to the U.S. as well.

Short Update. Prototypes for Gemini-Lake (Fujitsu D3544-S) milled and assembled. With only 10W it can be built very slim.

Thanks for your questions Donut. Excellent points. Yes we are entering the prototype status at the moment and doing the actual CNC programming and milling during the next two weeks. So of course we will do temperature testing and provide numbers here. The number of fins are based on calculations...

Prototype cirrus7 incus - fanless case for ASRock DeskMini A300 and other popular STX sized boards.

Introduction: We have been working on a passivly cooled STX design lately. This form factor has gained quite some interest since ASRock has launched its DeskMini A300. The DeskMini A300 is a nice SFF Barebone system based on the AMD Ryzen CPUs with a powerful Vega 11 GPU integrated. The idea...

    Hello form germany!

We want to release within 2-3 months. I will add a project here shortly to gather feedback.

    Hello form germany!

Up until now I have a good impression. They have been supportive (e.g. they sent the CAD Step files of the board - for me as OEM manufacturer) and they have been very responsive. They also have long availability for each board (5 years) So I will give feedback here when I do my testing with the...

    Hello form germany!

I have ordered a sample. I think it will arrive on tuesday or wednesday. If it is good it will be an option in our Thin-ITX platform nimbus.

    Hello form germany!

There is also a Thin-ITX Mitac Board PH12FEI. It only has PCIe x 4 but has a much better price: http://client.mitac.com/products-embedded-board-PH12FEI.html

    Hello form germany!

Yes it's a crazy price. I could sell it a little better. But it would be still around 250€ + shipping.

    Hello form germany!

If using a riser one could build CPU(board) and GPU side by side and have shared cooling fins. This was an industrial prototype for machine learning. you can't see the GPU here because the GPU was only for CUDA and not for attaching a monitor. Also note that this was a POC to show that it is...

    Hello form germany!

Yes there are a few options. Mainly it depends on if or if not taking advantage of a PCIe (flex)riser. I could imagine using no riser and having a build with rectangular running cooling fins. So that CPU and GPU each having its own cooling. Basically having a stack of fins in two directions. At...

    Hello form germany!

The Sapphire board is nice. I have a sample too. But they have a relative high price point. And Sapphire has a MOQ of 100.

    Hello form germany!

We have also plans for a build with IMB-1213 + GPU. But let me know if you need a board for your own build.
