Hey I had issues with my old motherboard MSI H81i layout and the hdplex 160W. Like you said, it clashed with the RAM. I saw that the Gigabyte AB350 layout would have the same issue. But the ASRock one doesn't have any issues, don't worry. And no coil whine so far.

Finally got the Noctua mounting kit. Edited the OP to include pics.
