I flipped my panel upside down in the original Densium +. Though that was with the v1 mounting system, I believe he designed new brackets to also hold the usb c front i/o for v2 so it might have changed.

Well, a short pcb means very little, a 3090 and a 4080 also have a short pcb. The 220 watt powerdraw likely means you'll see two fan coolers at best. And with everyone re-using cooler and shrouddesigns I don't think you'll find anything smaller than the smaller 3070's in circulation. Personally...

To the Densium 4+ v1 users here: has anyone tried cramling a GPU with 228 mm lenght inside? It has some tolerance to go past 222mm, but not a lot. I have the option of getting a cheap 6700 non xt Fighter model with 228 mm lenght. Would be epic if it squeezed in!

My suggestion: Increase height for a taller cooler. 1. The worthwhile (for 1080p gaming) rdna2 apu's will only be in the higher end cpu's. AMD will sprinkle some rdn2 cores on all cpu's for basic video output, but only a one or two cpu's will get enough cores to be viable for more than basic...

Probably the pcb solderpoints touch metal when screwed into the metal bracket. When attached to the caseframe this grounds into the flex powersupply and loops 5v from the usb header to ground somehow, triggering the overcurrentprotection? Washers prevent contact between pcb and metal frame...
