    INARI - Cerberus in sand

Awesome! Art-wise I'm definitely still just in the personal hobbyist category of trying to actually draw with intent, rather than just having a lot of hesitant doodling that sometimes winds up being something finished ?. My mobile Cerberus excursions (and one with the Dancase) have been paired...

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

Due to my optical drive shenanigans on the front panel, I'd opted to go with rear-mounted SFX + low profile cooler to make sure my PSU had an unobstructed source of airflow from the outside of the case. My initial cooler was indeed a Cryorig C7, which worked just fine for me since I don't do...

Water proof & Anti-Static safe solutions for traveling with a Micro ATX Computer ?

A Pelican case like the one @Valantar linked is probably the best "stuff-proof" transport option for a Cerberus, but if you're in a pinch/have one already then a large sewing machine bag can also serve reasonably well. A large garbage/Ikea bag could be used for a light level of "water falling in...

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

I got my right angle cable separately, but this is the slot drive I'm currently using; anything the same size or smaller should work. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FK412GC/?tag=theminutiae-20

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

I've got a right angle USB cable going into the body of the case and then a USB to motherboard 4-pin header adapter inside. I've wound up busier than expected the past half-year so I haven't done much looking into a fitted bracket solution yet. The squishy cable ties are still holding up pretty...

So many choices, and not sure where to look

Since you've expressed interest in the Cerberus handle and the back to back layout, @KSliger 's SM550 might be of some interest to you as it will use the same handle and will come in white. I don't remember any discussion about a transparent side for this in the works but I could have missed...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

If the front panel in the Cerberus X has the same amount of space under it as does in the Cerberus, I'll have to disagree with this space being unusable. My Cerberus is still hosting a working optical drive up there and another possible use for that space could be for additional ports facing...

(TRAVEL) Taking your SFF build on a plane and getting it past Security check

Last September I traveled within the USA with my mATX Cerberus (air cooling) as an overhead carry-on in a sewing machine bag and encountered no problems with security in either Las Vegas or Omaha. At the scanning machines the case was just able to fit into the standard plastic bins and ran...

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

Happily the a/c was a prompt maintenance fix the next morning, yay for relatively simple problems that are somebody else's job to actually repair. Wallye Feedback: Setup/packing The bag worked like a charm on its first trip, though I had to refer back to the promo video to figure out which...

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

The most amusing part is that a few hours after posting this, I wound up packing it up again for real along with the rest of my portable setup to overnight due to the air conditioning going out. Worked like a charm!

    INARI - Cerberus in sand

GPU upgrade, format updates (albums inside spoilers are getting squashed into thin lines), and another amusing travel bag option! I'd gotten the Wallye Tactik Duffle v2 for a bunch of other reasons that didn't actually include trying to stuff Cerberus in there but... curiosity fueled by...

The Chimera MachOne: For the pros. Small meets flexible.

I'm more of a purple, silver, grey, and Cinnamoroll person, but pink can be nice as long as it doesn't come with a pink tax and continually changing cultural perspectives about color gendering.

Accessory Portable LCD monitors for work and gaming, recommendations?

I've used my little 10" yiynova tablet with my Cerberus for a somewhat comedic travelling hotel build. As a proof of concept it worked like a charm for both working and playing some games even though it's on the small side as far as screen real estate goes.

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

If your custom solution doesn't pan out, another option for front(ish) USB might be to have the ports accessible from the air cutouts on the sides of the front panel by attaching them horizontally to the front mounting vents. I think there'd be plenty of space for 4 ports on either side, or two...

Chimera Industries Cerberus: The 18L, mATX, USA-made enclosure

Here's the two main albums I've got from the build/update log of my beige Cerberus, I can vouch for it being a very light beige instead of a blue or green light grey, almost like faded parchment or beach sand. The second album has some varying light sources on it but the brown/yellow tones are...
