G.SKILL has announced their new Zeta R5 memory series which features the unholy and unspoken combination of overclocking support and ECC support. Designed for use with the Intel Xeon W-2400X and W-3400X CPUs, these R-DIMMs (Registered DIMM) run at up to DDR5-6400 CL32 with kit capacities as high as 256GB in a 32X8 configuration.
While this isn’t a big deal for most users, people looking to build a ZFS file system based server, say in a Jonsbo N1 SFF Case, will surely be interested.
