3600g looks really nice. Very likely to replace my 2400g once it comes out. Assuming it's AM4.
The TDP is higher, may be a problem for very compact builds. But not for me for sure.
3300g is quite interesting as well, it's next-gen 2400g.
I'd love to see a variant that is 4C/8T with more Navi cores specifically aimed at the eSports/Gaming market. While I understand they don't want to cannibalize their 75W 3060 card, it would help them gain market share over Nvidia and Intel simultaneously while exploiting what I personally think could be a great market segment. Alternatively a more expensive gaming-oriented variant with on-die HBM instead of those extra two to four cores would be even better. The price point would likely be high enough it wouldn't scare off their budget GPU customer base.
I know right? The APU chips just keep getting better and better. AMD is destroying in the integrated graphics field.
Super bummed that I JUST bought the 2200G and the 3300G looks so much better already.
3300G 3.0GHz-3.8GHz 65wTDP 6 core 12 thread $129
3600G 3.2GHz-4.0GHz 95wTDP 8 core 16 thread $199
I thought the New APU chips weren't due for awhile though?
It's hard to say. AMD saying AM4 will support CPUs for 4 years worth of generations could very well be only a subset of the newest SKUs, we'll know in about a month possibly. Are these all expected to be AM4 socket chips?
