@Thehack : do you think this Piezzo Switch can also work ?
https://fr.rs-online.com/web/p/products/6919593/

According to the documentation, the LED rating is :

How do you control that the LED receives 200mA ?

I measured the voltage directly at the motherboard LED power pins and it reads 5V.

The load device determines the amount of current that travels through it. The rating just tells you how much current it'll use, you do not need to take any action.

Is this the fancy switch circuit that we discussed previously? It looks like very compact solution.

Oh yes sorry... Was tired, I did not quote the right part of the documentation.
The particular reference I linked has a 5V LED. All good.

Type of illumination/voltage : A Standard ring - 5VDC

Yes exactly, it's a circuit allowing to control with a momentary switch the PS_ON function of the Meanwell RPS.
You press the switch, you start the Meanwell.

No need for load switches anymore :)

How does the circuit theory work?

Interesting to see if it works well and how exactly it was implemented. The theory I put out was just an idea.

This is Christian own-design ; I'm not going to disclose it pubicly.
Check your MP :)

I'll start a proper thread once I'll have tested these goodies.
