I want to create a portable gaming system but I'm not sure which ITX mobo's support Raven Ridge without upgrading the bios. Anyone have some insight? Thanks!

AMD will send you a free BIOS upgrade kit if you need one (its a cheap cpu to get the board booted), you just need to send it back after you do the upgrade which they pay for shipping both ways so its not too bad. As to which have them, all new boards *SHOULD* have the updated BIOS. I'd try to order on newegg over a brick-and-mortar store so you don't get a board thats been sitting on the shelf for a few months.

Thanks for the info I had no idea AMD provided that service. Do I need to provide proof of purchase? If not I might request it now and go pick up a board from microenter this weekend.

Look at the bottom "Boot Kit Solution".

I'd ask specifically for the retailer for boards that are updated to the very latest firmware, the Raven Ridge supporting firmware hasn't been out for very long: my ASRock AB350-ITX/ac had the update available in the middle of January and the Asus Prime X370-Pro had it at the end of January.

Considering transport from China/Taiwan with the boat easily takes 6 weeks if I'm correct, add customs delays and warehouse/store stock to that and I'd be amazed if anyone was able to get you a board with updated firmware. I expect the manufacturers to add stickers to the box to advertise the support, because of this.

I too have been wanting to build an SFF based on the Realan 60 case (plan to use Ryzen 5 2400G w/no video card) , however, the BO of the HDPlex and the inability of major MB manufacturers to get the Raven Ridge compatible with their board and the horrible wifi module stories had put me off. Anyone have issues with the wifi/bluetooth card and if not which mini-itx MB did you use in your build? The 2000's are fast approaching and I am bummed out at the lack of MB support for the mini-itx. I want to build 3 or 4 for family members but am waiting until the dust clears,
