I've been looking to shrink my build a bit.

Now days I'm running a phanteks enthoo evolv matx.
But I fell in love with the cerberus.

Now I fear it will remain a distant dream ever since the kickstarter campaign didn't go through.

But I'd like to know what enclosure comes closest to the chimera.

The smallest case that's readily available and has the ventilation needed to handle a decent microATX system is the SilverStone SG09/SG10: http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=345

Yup, that's really the only candidate for you right now if the goal is to go smaller. Be aware that it's only got 4 slots, not 5.

if you are willing make some sacrifices to allow for a smaller enclosure, have a look at the in-win BK series. Bear in mind that oversized GPUs will not fit though

I don't think the SG10 is readily available anymore. I was looking to get one here in Canada but almost every place shows no stock. NewEgg doesn't even have a page for it anymore. It may be end-of-life.
