MSI today launched the Gaming All-in-One PC: MSI Gaming 27. Equipped with powerful hardware, MSI claims that this system is capable of running the newest PC games in high resolution with ultra settings. Video input, two HDMI outputs, socketed desktop processor (very nice), available with touch (not sure when you'd use it but nice gimmick), lots of storage, card reader and drive built in, design not overly tacky.
Looks good, but will cost a fortune.
One question though: If you want an AIO as a desktop replacement, wouldn't it make sense to put the 980 for Laptops inside, not the 980M? Not that the M isn't a good GPU, but if you were to build a machine as high-end as this, why not go through with it?

Maybe the use of a full blown desktop CPU is enough to get too close to the thermal limit of the design.

From notebookcheck.net -

"The power consumption of the card is a lot higher than other mobile graphics card like the GeForce GTX 980M (100 Watt TDP). According to Nvidia, the TDP of the reference design is still 165 Watt like in the desktop version. Including overclocking headroom, the power consumption may reach up to 200 Watt. Therefore, only big laptops with efficient cooling methods can house the GeForce GTX980 for laptops."

Yeah but those are laptops, where the intake is normally on the underside. Here it's on the back of the enclosure, which will be completely unobstructed in most cases.

Indeed, the cooling design consists only of a single blower fan, so it might well be that a real 980 would've overloaded that system, but it doesn't seem like there's not enough space for two separate coolers.

That's a good point. two blowers may have exceeded the noise limit of the brief :p
