Minisforum has launched a new prebuilt / barebones mini-pc with the Zen 3 Ryzen 9 5900HX at it's heart. The chip is an 8 core / 16 thread Zen 3 part on the 7nm process node. It has a base clock of 3.3GHZ, and a boost clock of up to 4.6GHZ. It also incorporates Vega 8 iGPU that should provide basic performance in games with low settings and low resolution. The barebones system starts at $629, while a system with 32GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD costs $909 as of writing.

Personal Take: I like seeing the Zen3 CPUs as the heart of ultra small SFFs. However, my personal taste runs toward the Zotac Magnus line, and I'm not a fan of the Miniforums design style. Also, if it has no dedicated GPU, it will never be for me.
