Portable monitor question

So I gutted my dead laptop and am trying to use the screen as a portable option for my S4 mini build. Rather than hooking up the screen to some batteries, is there an easy way to directly plug the screen into my HD plex 400W PSU? All answers welcome and thanks for the help

Best way would be to get an adapter that connects display via hdmi and power via usb? There is also an existing thread discussing this topic:

this is also an external monitor if you have the money to spare would be easily mounted on to the s4 mini chasis as the dimensions are pretty much same and further i will provide the link to mounting brackets of a apple macbook as these are small in size n would be a perfect fit as these are so tiny
