Hey Guys,

I thought I would get some of your feedback on a build I'm planning on doing. Mostly for gaming in VR. Trying to spec it to be really good for MSFS. It is also intended for a travel build.

Case: ZS-Case ZS A3 V3.1 with 36mm tophat
Mobo: Gigabyte X570 I AORUS PRO WIFI
CPU: AMD ryzen 5 5600x or 5900x
CPU cooler: Corsair H100x or aphacool LT240
Ram: 16gb Cosair vengenace 3000mhz (already have) upgrade to 32 3600mhz later
Storage: 970 evo 1 tb (already have) + WD SN750 M.2 PCI-E x4 1TB
PSU: Corsair SF750

I may pick a B550 board but it seems like the 570 are the same price where I am. I'm leaning towards the 5600x due to mostly gaming. With the cooler I believe the LT240 would fit with 25mm fans but i think id have to do smaller with the H100X it shy by 1 mm. I didnt go with the H100i versions due to not caring about rgb or pump noise. If there are other reccomendations for AIO I'd love to hear since this is my hardest choice. Should have 51mm fan+rad space.

I forgot GPU Oops 6800xt that fits due to the extra usb C connection.

I went with the x570i pro wifi for my build over the b550 and am happy with it so far (5600x). Only advice I would give is if you go with the x570, the front m.2 slot gets some residual heat from the chipset and drive temps are fairly warm at ~65c for me. Will vary based on case airflow.

Thanks. That is one of my concerns but since I'm going with a sandwich case I'm more concerned about the back m.2. If I have room maybe I will see if I can mount a side over the board to help cool if there is a temp issue
