I was thinking of doing something similar. But only by adding one more card to my build. I'd have to use an M.2 adapter and a riser as well as you. But what I'm thinking about is how you connected everything to the PSU? I'm currently powering a Vega 64 with 8+8pin, so there's no more room for a GPU on the PSU (SF600, same as you).
Are you using an Y-splitter? Or are you running it from the 6pin "peripherals"-connector on the PSU? I really don't know what to do/order.
EDIT: After some investigating, I may have found the solution to my power problems. I found a dual 4-pin Molex to dual 6+2 adapter that I can connect to the Molex-cabel that came with the PSU. What do you think?
