I'm not looking to necessarily become a FreeCAD master (I'll probably after my PC upgrade switch any sheet metal work to Autodesk's equivalent as I'll have storage space to install more of the free student software), however It is a bit unlike other modellers I've used in the past, so some tutorials would be useful.

Links to any tutorials on modelling (relevant to sheet metal pc case modelling), or if you happen to want to just post your own original tutorial on this thread it's welcome too, although if posting your own tutorial , please presume little to no knowledge as it'd be nice if anyone who stumbles across this thread can utilise the tutorials please. (So that means explaining any weird jargon! Images are welcome too!)

I have not made a tutorial although I posted several of them in the RSC thread here. The blog post for the sheet metal add-on includes a video showing the use of the add-on.

Ahh, thank you, I'll read through it tomorrow or some other day soon.

I would recommend to look at Onshape (https://www.onshape.com/), its a fully cloud based CAD program that you use in your browser. No disk space required.
It has lots of really good tutorial videos as well (look under the Learn tab on the webpage).

It has sheet metal and tutorials on how to use that:
https://www.onshape.com/videos/sheet-metal
https://www.onshape.com/videos/introducing-onshape-sheet-metal
etc..

It's a possibility, it has a "pricing" page though which seems to suggest unless I wish to pay my CAD files will be in the public domain for public use, and I'm not totally sure I'd want that... Also, I'd need to export the CAD files to a normal format such as .stl files or such.
