So much reading.. love it.To confirm something being discussed - you can move the front panel board to the other side of the case, there are two holes in the bottom of the case to mount it there the same way it's mounted by default. If you're going the custom front plate route, this should work just fine. It's a feature that's in there for customer/custom versions of the case.
