Yes it is impressive for Jonsbo, although it doesn't support all ATX card slots. I'm really curious why they decided to not have a 7th slot, while the room is obviously there.
A nice case when you want a small ATX build and mATX isn't enough.

I didn't notice that. Seems odd. The 6th slot interferes with the 5.25" bay anyway, so why not have the last one? Hmm.

Same can be said about the Element Q, yes mITX MBs just have 1 slot, but most GPUs are duel width... So, why not make it 5.25 tall & give it 2 exp. slots so a none special GPU can go in it? Or just make a mATX version, high enough for the GPU power plug & 4 exp. slots,,,

Looks like if you used the same layout but swapped the ATX PSU for SFX, and squished it right up against the motherboard (AIO only), you could drop the case thickness down to 130-140mm or so giving you a ~15L ATX case.

I would agree with Jonsbo cases having ventilation issues. The one I tested - the C2 - still struggles with ventilation, even after the roof lift mod I did!

As far as I can tell the only difference between the RM1 and the RM2 is the vents in the roof. Which really should have been there to begin with, I'm not sure what they were thinking with the airflow scheme of the original.

Most likely it was deemed OK enough to work without fully loading it and just use a random single old GPU, some Socket 462 mATX board and an HDD or two, like most seem to base their thermal testing on. For once I'd like to see proper testing with current hardware in PC cases from the manufacturer themselves instead of a few tech sites.

That ventilation was sorely needed. I'd acquire the RM2, but I don't think the RM1 ever showed up in North America so it's moot.

Still no 7th pci slot.

Also strange that there are side vent slots over the whole height of the case, yet only a single 120mm (SINGLE! WTF?!) fan for actually taking in air from them.

Sorry for the necro post!

I picked up a Jonsbo RM2 for use on a test PC at work but am now planning to use it for myself. I found the 5.25 only has mounting on one side - which I know what you are thinking, who cares - the RM2 removes the 5.25 drive. But, this is a problem because you can buy many 5.25 to 2.5 or 3.5 brackets and I am not sure how good it will be to only mount these on one side. They also use this side mount for the 2 2.5 drives, which means unless you can find a 5.25 to 4x 2.5 adapter you dont gain a whole lot. I wish they re-designed this bracket and allowed for a different layout, there is plenty of room in here for tons of drives.
