Hi, this is going to be my first computer build.
I am a complete noob so please point out problems in the build.
Build:
Gigabyte 1070 mini itx
i5 8600T
Gigabyte H370N WIFI mini itx
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 2666 Memory
970 evo 500GB
NH-L9i

To power this build, I am debating on whether to use this solution or this one.

Which one would be more noob friendly and easier?

I suggest the first solution, only because it seemed easier to work with. I have that skinny, silver meanwell and it fits and works really nicely.
