Hey guys! I'm new to SFF; after trying to use a gaming laptop(Acer Nitro 5 powering a 27" Dell S2721DGF) I decided to compromise and just build a SFF PC. I think last time I built a PC it had consisted of a AMD Phenom II X3 720!
Currently still gathering parts but so far I have:
AMD Ryzen 5600x
GB Aorus B550i
Crucial P5 1TB
EVGA GTX 1070sc
HDPlex 400W w/ Dell 330W brick
EK 240mm AIO
I'm still waiting on the RAM to get here(32GB Ballistix) and for the case, I'm thinking Meshlicious or SV540. I have the single 400W HDPlex but I'm waiting on the 200W ATX unit; just to clean up the wiring. I didn't know J-Hack had a 12v unit that works with a regular PSU until today; though I'm trying to justify the HDPlex since I can increase available space in the case.....maybe be able to fit two AIOs in the Meshlicious? I have a spare NZXT X63 and G12 I could use. Was hoping to get a RTX 3080 but current prices and availability is forcing me to wait.
