Hi everyone,

Long-time lurker, first time poster to the forums. Built an mATX rig prior to finding out about these forums and now would like to transition to a smaller form factor or case.

Looking forward to interacting with you all.

Cheers.
We all look forward to interacting with you as well. If you don't mind me asking, what are you current system's specs?

Welcome ! mATX is very useful for SFF-minded people, this topic proves that point that you can get a whole lot just by researching and Tetris-ing.

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
SSD1: OCZ Vertex 460 480GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
SSD2: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB

One step at a time. The CPU Cooler, Case, PSU will need changing. The HDD and SSDs will require some planning out. Maybe a NAS may be in order?

Actually I was thinking of an idea of keeping the same PC parts, and perhaps building a custom case having been inspired by the EVE-002 build using Parvum cubes. Btw, how does one add pictures to the post?

You will need to upload the picture somewhere and use the Image button to insert it using a direct link to the image. This board supports imgur links natively without using the Image first.

For inspiration on how to lay out the components in the case, have a look at K'NNECTED.
