Hey everyone!

I am looking for a new itx case. My current system was watercooled so I am going back to air. The only issue is i do not have my stock cooler for my 1080 and will have to buy an aftermarket one. I would love to put a Raijentek Morpheus II on but that would almost call for a MATX case.

I have been looking at all the normal brands for a premium ITX enclosure but feel like the case that I desire is nowhere to be found. The ncase can accommodate for the aftermarket GPU cooler and might be the best choice but does anyone have any other brands to check out?

Ive looked at the following.. Ncase, Jonsbo, raijentek, Lian Li, Silverstone.. ect ect ect...

Any new case manufactures or any Group Buys going on currently?

I was looking at Jonsbo but it looks like drama hit... they've extracted themselves from the US market maybe?

From my experience (with the 1080 founders edition card), the triple slot in the NCase M1 is the best in SFF for air cooling a graphics card.

Not terribly familiar with the aftermarket cooler you referenced, @Deeptek, but as long as the card stays double slot, the DAN A4 may fit it. Worth checking into if you want to go small...

To my limited knowledge, most aftermarket GPU coolers tend to make the GPU more than two slots in width...?

Now this makes me wonder about any aftermarket GPU cooler (similar to the one OP referenced) that would fit on the RX Vega XX GPUs, might help with cooling & noise in a Ryzen / RX Vega based air-cooled Ncase M1 build...!

EDIT : Damn, that is a big Nope...

The Raijentek Morpheus II creates a three slot card, which would leave no room for fans in the M1 chassis...

Unless one went the pedestal route & cut out the floor of the chassis...

Yes, I made the pedestal for improved airflow for a bottom (only) radiator.

I've also tried Accelero heatsink + 2x 120mm fans in floor. That setup fits in the M1 like a glove, and worked very well.

Which model Accelero...?

Were the fans 25mm thick...?

Thanks...!

The Xtreme IV GPU heatsink. Didn't try fitting the massive back heatsink. Attached VRM heatsinks.
Yup, the fans were 120mm x 25mm.
Search for Necere's post in the M1 thread on [H]. He called it build #3 "big air".

Finding that NH-C14 is the problem though...

You can install the Accelero Xtreme III on the GPU regardless of the CPU cooler. The NH-C14S (with slim top fan), NH-U9S, Cryorig M9i, Dark Rock TF (if it work with your board/RAM), Scythe Kabuto II, or an AIO are all viable options for CPU cooling alongside the Accelero.

I've seen the Morpheus installed with 15mm fans and since Noctua has new 15s I'm interested in giving it a try. I'd also like the Dark Rock TF but am not sure how the fans sound. I've got 6 NB eLoop b12s that I really want to use.. I'm trying to attain a noise level similar to my last loop.
