I'm an Open Source Firmware enthusiast and evangelist as well as the founder of [3mdeb](https://3mdeb.com). I would like to learn more about SFF community needs, expectations, and concerns around firmware. Welcome to the forum ! I've seen a few very low level projects here, with a few based on custom firmware to allow certain abilities on limited platforms. Our community often likes to go that extra mile to make their project work, like allowing PCIe bifurcation on a specific board or allow fanless mode on a GPU. I've done both on my systems with the help of the community.
