SFF.Network Hardware Unboxed Tests 250 Games on Intel ARC GPU

Hammer on Box has tested over 250 games on Intel ARC GPUs and the results are quite promising. The vast majority of the games ran acceptably on Intel’s homegrown GPU although there some oddballs. Simcity 4 was one of the older games with issues as an example.

I've been looking at Arc more than a few times, I like their cooler design and form factor a lot for SFF builds. The drivers have been improving from the start and it also has non-gaming advantages. LTT also did a live stream comparing two laptops, one with the Qualcomm CPU with Adreno iGPU, one with an Intel CPU with Arc iGPU. Both had issues, but the Intel one did fare a lot better generally. Ryzen CPU + Radeon iGPU would have asked them to hold its beer though.
