For connection of drives it is possible to use four ports SATA of 6 Gbit\s and two connectors M.2: the first is hidden under the small heat sink, and the second is located from the board back.

Yeah I don't get why this board is not getting more attention here when the second M.2 can easily be turned into a second x4 slot with a riser (one tested to be working is here). Given the seller linked there offers custom length cables and a thin enough flat cable I wonder whether the slot under the motherboard could be used with it and then the the one under the heatsink would perform better.
